7) Parent Partnership info online
This program is available to any southwest Michigan homeschooler.  It involves becoming a part-time student at Berrien Springs where they have set up some very "homeschool friendly" classes (that only meet once/week, or less).  Through the program you can also get Rosetta Stone foreign language classes to do online at your home, dual enrollment college classes, and many Community Resource classes such as Children's Choir for grades 1 and up, Show Choir for advanced teens, Robotics classes for ages 5 and up, and many more. The info for the fall semester has now been posted on the HUB web site.  As classes are added we will update the info.  To view it go to our web site at www.hshub.org and scroll down to the ad at the bottom of the home page.  Click where is says "here" in blue.

8) Summer Homeschool Beach Days
Starting next Tuesday, June 2nd, Fuller's Resort on Clear Lake in Buchanan, MI is again running their Homeschool special for us.  Arrive any Tuesday, all summer long, between 10am and 3pm and mention you are there for the Homeschool Beach Day.  Note that in the past this has been on Mondays, but this summer it has been changed to Tuesdays at the request of some families who have been going to the Homeschool Hangout on Tuesdays.  This is a good time to continue that as their group recreation time.  Come join in!!  The discounted entry fee will be only $1/person (normal rates are $3/adult, $1.75 for ages 12 & under).  There is a sandy beach, a campstore and restaurant (with great ice cream cones), picnic tables and grills, paddleboat and canoe rentals, and beach volleyball.  In the past, most homeschoolers have come around noon to picnic and swim.  For directions and their phone number take a look at the web site:  http://www.michcampgrounds.com/fullersresort/.
