December 14--Homeschool Skate at USA Skate 1:00-3:00, $3/pp including skate rental (special cookie party)
December 18--Homeschool Hangout. 2:00-3:30 p.m. at Clay Church Firehouse Youth Center on Cleveland Rd.
December 18--Homeschool HUB Board of Directors meeting, 7 pm Niles Police Complex
January 7--Club BLUE Martin's Cafe in Niles 7 pm

The HUB has much used curriculum to give away for free. A homeschool mom moved and liquidated everything in her inventory that was below her children's grade levels. All material is 7th grade and below; 90% is aBeka.

2) Beverly Hillbillies
Theater for Children and Young Adults will present The Beverly Hillbillies on December 14 at 7 pm at Community Congregational Church at the corner of 933 and Cleveland Road in South Bend, IN. Contact Jane Burkhart for tickets. theatreforchildren@gmail.com
3) Fernwood Holiday Events
Fernwood Botanical Garden in Buchanan, MI has lots of holiday events including Breakfast with Santa, a shopping trip to Chicago; free music, kids crafts, and ice carving; graham cracker gingerbread house class for kids; adult gingerbread class; and more! Click the link below for more info:

The HUB is a volunteer organization. Without the support and participation of homeschool families, we can't function effectively. There are several benefits of membership including a resource library that includes things like laptops, video cameras and other items to borrow. Members receive first chance at events and classes when availability is limited. The cost of membership is only $24/year. Information about becoming a member is on the website at www.hshub.org

Give your labels to any board member or bring them to our homeschool functions.

We are still accepting Boxtops for education labels. You can find these on many products.
Go to Boxtops for Education.org for more info, and then SAVE SAVE SAVE those labels. Each one nets 10 cents and every 10 cents adds up. You can give them to any HUB board member or bring them to any functions that we have. Thank-you!
