GENERAL INTEREST

G1) Brain Warmer Upper
G2) Free Entrepreneurship Class

G1) Brain Warmer Upper

A milkman has two empty jugs, a 5 gallon jug and a 3 gallon jug.  How can he measure exactly one gallon of milk without wasting any milk?

Answer to last week's puzzle:
Ask what is in the "APPLES and ORANGES" box.  If it is apples, then the box labeled "ORANGES" must have apples and oranges (since apples are in the box asked about and the box can't have what its label says) and the box labeled "APPLES" has oranges.  If the answer is "oranges," then the box labeled "APPLES " has apples and oranges and the box labeled "ORANGES" has apples.

G2) Free Entrepreneurship Class

One topic in which many home school families are interested is entrepreneurship.  "Why Have a Business." is a free course I wanted to make you aware of.  It was developed over a two year period working with a Home School coop in Fishers, Indiana, called Northpoint Classes.

It's a "learn by doing" curriculum that can be used by home school families, church schools, or adults seeking to enhance their interpersonal and business skills. We have developed and piloted a curriculum on entrepreneurship that not only helps people learn how to see themselves becoming entrepreneurs, but also gives them a step by step hands on program to learn and apply the principles of how to successfully launch a business.  https://generationselfemployed.zenler.com/

1) Fall Retreat for Young Adults

An Indiana retreat for former homeschool Christian young adults in order to network, fellowship and meet like-minded individuals as well as to encourage homeschooling to future generations is being planned.  This is what we believe to be a first in our state so it would be greatly appreciated if you can share this and get the word out to anyone this would apply to.  We would like this to be an annual event if enough participation can be gained.  Time is of essence as this is occurring the end of October.  We hope it will be a exciting and uplifting weekend for all! Feel free to share/post with your churches.
Thank you for your help in advance!

Blessings,
