MICHIANA EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES

1) Personal Finance Class
2) Chapin Mansion Tours
3)  Two Summer Concerts

1) Personal Finance Class

A finance class for adults and older teens.  This class is perfect for homeschoolers age 17 and up, and college students if they're still local.  Older teens can join as well, but we ask that a parent join any student under age 17 for the class. There too much that a 15 yr old wouldn't have context for, but lots they could benefit from, too. Onsite child care will be provided for the younger siblings, if necessary.  See attached flyer for details.

2) Chapin Mansion Tours

This is a reminder that the Chapin Mansion is now open for tours every Wednesday through Saturday at 11am and 1pm.  Admission is $5.00 for age 10 and up.  The first Saturday of each month is free.  I hope to see you soon.  We have great docents who are ready and anxious to show you the house!

3)  Two Summer Concerts

Michiana Covenant Presbyterian Church is delighted to present two concerts
this summer with significant educational value.

A) James and Troye Newcomb will be performing their concert/presentation,
"The Trumpet throughout the Ages" at Michiana Covenant Presbyterian Church
(14567 Cleveland Road, Granger), on Thursday, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. James
is a trumpeter for the Army Ground Forces Band at Fort Bragg, NC.

"Thank you for a wonderful concert and presentation. As a homeschooling
family we enjoyed not only the wonderful musical performance, but also the
educational experience. It was a delight to hear the many kinds of
trumpets and learn of their use through out history. The evening uplifted
us, inspired us, brought us some laughter and increased our appreciation,
it was a true blessing." -Matt, Cary, NC
