2)  Noted Children's Book Illustrator to Speak at Bethel

Bethel College will be hosting a free family program given by noted children's book editor Chris Soentpiet on Tuesday, March 26 from 6-8 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium.  Soentpiet studied fine arts and education at Pratt Institute in New York City, where he then pursued his passion for painting by illustrating children's books. Soentpiet's work has been featured in the "New York Times," "USA Today," "Houston Chronicle" and "Newsweek."

This event is sponsored by the Education Departments of Saint Mary's College, Holy Cross College and Bethel College. This event is free and open to all elementary students and their families, no RSVP necessary. People are encouraged to come before the presentation at 5:30 p.m. to purchase books. 3)  Warsaw Women's Expo

The Warsaw Women's Expo will take place March 23rd and 24th. The two day event features speakers, classes, entertainment and vendors. Our key speaker for both days is Lisa Whelchel. Bethel College will be hosting the final stop on the iShineLIVE! Tour, a unique faith-based concert tour designed specifically for kids under the age of 14 and their families on March 17 at 6 p.m. in the Everest Rohrer Auditorium; doors open at 5 p.m.

iShine is a kid's media group like Disney® that produces Christian content by Christian teens for children under the age of 14. The tour features a talented line-up of teen artists including: artist/guest speaker Rachel Chan, daughter of New York Times best-selling author Francis Chan, The Rubyz and Mission Six from Radio Disney, and new artist Spencer Kane. The tour will offer hit music, interactive video, dynamic speakers and plenty of fun for kids and their parents.

This concert is open to the public and tickets can be purchased online at http://event.attendstar.com/event/show/ishine-live-2013-mishawaka-in/  or through River Valley Church in Mishawaka.
